Ferdinand
in Schools
Ferdinand Football Group use sport and physical activity to inspire children to be aware of the impact and benefits of being active and living a healthy lifestyle.
Physical Education (PE) is a compulsory part of the curriculum for all pupils at every Key Stage, from age four to 16. At Foundation and Key Stage 1 this includes athletics, dance, games, and gymnastics; and at Key Stage 2 this includes athletics, dance, games, gymnastics and swimming.
Our ethos
Our ethos for our Ferdinand In Schools programme is to ensure all our activities are inclusive whether children are only starting on their sporting pathway or have previous experience. Our aim is to support the curriculum and ensure FFG are delivering the best quality for our partners and children. Owner and Director, Anton Ferdinand, is working closely with Active Essex as one of their board members to play a big part in the future of our children’s future health.
What to expect
Ferdinand In Schools offers a wide range of activities to ensure we are engaging every pupil. In addition to this, we believe all pupils attending our sessions, whether it is curriculum or extra curriculum programmes, will receive feedback on their progress and advice on how to maintain that development.
School Support
Our Ferdinand In Schools Curriculum Manager would support your school in any capacity you require and can, additionally, create age-appropriate workshops for your school on Racism, Mental Health and Health & Wellbeing.
