Your role as a Ferdinand First Kicks Football Manager is to take on responsibility of the financial and reputable success of our development programme for our youngest players from ages 18months to age 6 (pre-academy). This includes working with the Directors to implement the day-to-day operations, session planning, county and national programme growth, safeguarding, active promotion, budget management and successful communication links between the FFG team and your members. You will be expected to actively coach your classes, with the support of other FFG coaches, as well as plan and deliver the development of the programmes.
At FFG, we expect all Coaches to proactively create positive and engaging departments to the best of their abilities.
Our aim is to create the largest, successful community department in Essex, with the most participants and diverse projects.
As a Manager the long-term expectations are for you to grow and develop the area’s you have been allocated, evolving continuously with the support of FFG.
Candidates will be required to hold Football Coaching qualifications, minimum at FA level 2/UEFA C, plus in-date First Aid and Safeguarding qualifications. Candidates must be able to prove management and general company administration experience.
This is a new role at Ferdinand Football Group designed specifically for an experienced individual with a passion and understanding for working with younger children, imparting knowledge and experience to ensure sustainable growth and training to our national franchisee’s as well as growing the department with FFG HQs in Essex. This is an ideal role for a coach who wants to take a permanent step in their career to showcase their skills in management and build their own department under the mentorship of a very successful brand.
Qualifications & Experience:
Relevant Sporting Degree Qualification – Desirable
FA Level 2 – Essential
UEFA B License – Desirable
2/3 Year Experience working in pre-school/younger years Sport Development – Essential
First Aid (minimum IFiF level) – Essential
Drivers license- essential
Microsoft Office and general computer literacy skills- essential
Location: Various locations in Mid & South Essex
